Senior Product Engineer

Elm AI builds AI agents for sourcing, compliance and supplier operations. Our software is live with major consumer brands, helping teams manage audit reviews, corrective actions and supplier follow-through across thousands of factories.

We’re hiring a Senior Product Engineer to build Elm AI’s core product and agent workflows. You’ll own features from architecture and implementation through UX decisions, and help shape how we build software with AI.

• Ship features end-to-end across frontend, backend and agent workflows.
• Design scalable systems and make clear architectural decisions.
• Shape the product experience alongside the implementation.
• Improve developer velocity, product quality, feedback loops and internal tooling.
• Develop practical AI-assisted engineering practices and identify useful work without waiting for detailed specs.

• Deep technical skills, strong product judgment and care for clear, fast, durable software.
• Fluency in modern software engineering and thoughtful use of AI tools in development.
• Evidence of building: side projects, prototypes, open-source work, writing or other work you’re proud of.
• Curiosity about new models and tools, ownership in ambiguous situations, and a balance of speed and craft.

This is an international remote role, with at least 4 hours of overlap with U.S. Eastern Time. We offer competitive compensation, benchmarked to your role, experience and regional market.
